Theatre groups need props and furniture for plays and shows and it is not always possible to borrow furniture from members of the group or it may be too expensive to buy. And sometimes finding items of furniture not in current fashion can be difficult.
This is to introduce Guildford Action Furniture Project and ask if we can be publicised to your members.
We can rent or sell you low cost pre-owned furniture.
Guildford Action Furniture Project is a Charity (number 1078721) which receives donations of good quality second hand furniture which we divert from landfill back into the community or to reclamation.
We do this by sale to the general public at attractive prices, which helps to subsidise the provision of affordable furniture to the disadvantaged and those in need.
Our funds only come from charitable donations and by the sale of furniture. We are not financially supported by Guildford Borough Council.
We have just opened a new 2500 sq ft showroom in Guildford and have beds, sofas, armchairs, tables, chairs, wardrobes, chests of drawers, fridges, freezers, washing machines, TVs, stereos, video recorders, microwaves and all sorts of things for the home.
